A virtual visit of Fort Gilkicker

The earth bank removal at Fort Gilkicker has unveiled gun emplacements hidden from the sun for over a century. Once all artefacts are removed, these emplacements will offer expansive sea views as part of our project to transform the fortifications into residential spaces. Interestingly, while some have iron shields, others feature concrete blockages with 'dummy' windows.
