Sleeping Beauty

We are immensely privileged to be part of the team witnessing the opening of these gun emplacements, which have not been exposed to sunlight for over 100 years. It's undeniably ironic to observe such beauty, originally crafted for war – yet never fired in anger – now destined to transform into a home filled with laughter and peace.

Drawing on a wealth of experience in award-winning architecture and specializing in the adaptive reuse of Victorian Fortifications, the architects leading this project, Deniz Beck Partners www.denizbeck.com skillfully blend historical preservation with community revitalization, transforming structures and stimulating social, cultural, and economic growth within the community.
