RIBA, ARB, CA, OCDEA. An accredited conservation architect specialising in adaptive reuse / regenration of firmal military sites. She has vast experience in the repair of historic buildings, managing multi-disciplinary teams and providing professional advice, design and liaison work and bid preparation. Notable past projects include the conversions of Scheduled Ancient Monuments such as Spitbank Fort, (double RIBA award winner, 2012) 'The Hotwalls Studios' at Point Battery, (Portsmouth Society Award, 2017), Fort Cumberland Conversion of casmates for Veteran Charity, No Mans Land Fort, Fort Gilkicker, Fort Widley and various fortifications on the island of St Helena. She is also a qualified energy assessor and advocate for re-use and repurposing rather than new build approach with a VAT reverse.

She is a full member of ICOMOS and has published papers for international seminars, presented at local seminars and prepared desktop studies for Unesco World Heritage site selection. She is also a founding director of Sustainable Conservation Trust which its mission is to provide the enablement of financial self-sufficiency for the continuing preservation of historic assets.”

sam brooks

A design professional with 14 years’ experience working in the architecture industry. He has taken a senior design team role on masterplanning projects and Scheduled Monument conversions and restorations. He is a professional photographer and graphic designer whose work has been exhibited locally, and has recently been assisting in the production of desktop studies for ICOMOS for annual Unesco World Heritage site selection and attended international seminars.
